Pauls Valley has several cultural and civic organizations for citizens to get involved.

  • Allies for Better Living

    Allies for Better Living This Garvin County community group is a partnership with the Oklahoma Turning Point Council. Members of ABL shall include but not limit to: public health, mental health, school educators, law enforcement, church, business corporations, individuals, youth organizations, local government, community based organizations, parents and anyone else that wants to be a part of the coalition.

  • Arts of Council

    “Enriching the community through the arts” is the stated mission of the Pauls Valley Arts Council (PVAC). Your membership helps make possible numerous PVAC programs and services,including;Producing arts activities throughout the year, such as theater, music, dance, visual and technical arts. Developing a comprehensive arts calendar to promote all community arts-related activities and events.Working closely with the public schools of Pauls Valley and Garvin County to provide student educational opportunities. Establishing an arts and cultural center in Pauls Valley to be used for meetings, art shows, workshops, small theater productions, and other arts-related projects.

  • Chamber of Commerce

    The Chamber of Commerce, formed in 1921, has been a vital link between business, industry, education and the community. Our vision is to strengthen that link each and every day. The mission of the Chamber is to advance the economic, civic and cultural growth of Pauls Valley and to enhance the quality of life in the community while fostering continuous improvements of Pauls Valley as a place in which to conduct today’s business.

  • Historical Society

    The Pauls Valley Historical Society was chartered in 1978 to collect, preserve and exhibit, primarily the history of Pauls Valley and Garvin County, which was part of Indian Territory before Oklahoma became the 46th state in 1907. Historical Background “The Queen of the Washita” as the City of Pauls Valley was once known was one of the earliest settlements in Indian Territory. Smith Paul, born in 1809 in New Bern, North Carolina, lived with the Chickasaw Indians in Northwestern Mississippi for seventeen years. On a wagon train trip to California, Paul discovered the fertile bottom land which is now Pauls Valley.

    Lions Clubs International is the world’s largest service club organization. We have more than 1.35 million members in more than 45,000 clubs worldwide. Who Are Lions? Lions meet the needs of local communities and the world. Our more than 1.35 million members in 206 countries and geographic areas are different in many ways, but we share a core belief – community is what we make it.

  • Love PV

    Love PV is a community effort to raise money to provide school supplies to all the kids in Pauls Valley. Monetary donations are appreciated. We will also be using local services to help us facilitate our Love PV Festival July 21st.

  • Masonic Lodge

    The Masonic Lodge of Pauls Valley is the oldest enterprise in Pauls Valley in continuous existence. Valley Lodge #6 was chartered on September 7th, 1875 by the Grand Lodge of Indian Territory and has met continuously since that time. The Grand Lodge of Indian Territory and The Grand Lodge of Oklahoma Territory merged in 1909 and thus became the Grand Lodge, AF&AM of the State of Oklahoma. The Pauls Valley Masonic Lodge #6 meets on the first and third Tuesday of each month at the Masonic Temple, 101 Mason Lane (look for Masonic Lodge sign on Highway 77S) in Pauls Valley.

  • Restored Hearts and Soles

    Restored Hearts and Soles Foundation is to provide the less fortunate people of our communtiy with free footwear. We believe that proper footwear helps encourage the growth of confidence through social and emotional endeavors. We believe that soles are an integral part of a persons physical and mental well-being.

    Raise money to purchase new, quality shoes and socks for children in need throughout Garvin County. We host a Prom Closet every year for all young girls.
