The Code Enforcement Department is responsible for administering and enforcing all codes and ordinances adopted by the City of Pauls Valley.

This includes field inspections of building, electrical, mechanical and plumbing work as well as plan checking and public information as related to new construction.

The department is also responsible for enforcing Property Maintenance Code and field inspections for health, nuisances and zoning requirements of the city. This includes plan reviews and public information as related to new construction and existing structures, ensuring safe buildings.

The Department is also responsible for issuing all permits and business licenses.
